Smart Solutions is an NHS programme to find new ways to help combat healthcare associated infections (HCAIs). We have been inviting businesses from all industry sectors to put forward suitable products and technologies to be assessed by our team of experts, with a view to evaluating them in a hospital setting and potentially supplying them across the NHS. The Smart Solutions project is now closed, however you can follow its progress through the news stories on this website and find out about some other initiatives to help fight HCAIs.
